"I think they're reaching a bit claiming this has "538sqft" of coverage 250 to 350 sqft or one large room is really the most this thing can handle especially if you have tall ceilings.
The fan or motor seems to make a ticking noise at the lowest speed and I don't like the way the filter is held against the fan(There are spring loaded spheres in the bottom of the unit if or when those springs become weak the filter won't seal properly). We placed in living room and once you turn it on (silent/auto) it takes care of it self. example---my wife started to take off her nail polish off, a minute after opening the remover bottom it went from blue (light) silent to red high, 5 minutes after she finished it went back to blue silent on its own.
