I bought an extra jug for my distiller to make water all day. This water should be used to also wash your face and brush your teeth. It’s pure water to its purest. I have used a lot of RO systems in the past to filter my water. But that stuff does not taste anywhere like fresh rain water.
When I move into a place where I can hook up a larger distiller unit to my shower, that’s next on the list because Never let fluoride touch your skin, let alone drink it. Dump out the water all the time when it’s %5 to %10 full of water. This water may have toxins that boiled off front the start. The home water distiller units do not have a valve that dumps the first amount of boil off like the industrial distillers do. Now keep in mind these toxins may be very low but we are shooting for absolute pure water. So, just dump the first part that comes in. There is a carbon filter the water goes through before going into the jug so it’s not nessary but I still do it.
The machine does make a good amount of heat in the room that’s it in. I have it in my room to help me drink over a gallon of water a day. Just read how health this stuff is online and you may too.

"The directions on the package call for three tablespoons of stuff, boiling water in the tank and letting it sit for twelve hours. What an ordeal! Totally unnecessary! I use one tablespoon (instead of the recommended three tablespoons) and let it sit in a little water covering the bottom on my distiller where most of the deposits reside for a few hours. Then I add water up to cover the area on the side of the tank having minor deposits. When it's time for me to distill more water (and I do it every day), I drain the water and my tank is usually perfectly clean.

"This distiller works very well. I have read several reviews complaining about water taste not being consistent from batch to batch and other issues. Others have complained about the TDS (total dissolved solids) being high after the distillation process. Anyway, I have come up with a routine that so far each batch is consistent in taste (taste exactly like commercial distilled water), and the TDS is zero as it should be. Best of all, I don't use the charcoal filter.

I fill it up with hot water. At my location it takes 20 minutes to reach full boil. I let it boil with the lid (fan unit) off for 5 to 7 minutes (this allows the VOC gases to boil off). I then place the lid on and collect the first half cup in a separate container - this is discarded just like "moonshiners do in their process. Then I collect in the glass pitcher - I use a timer to control when to shut it off. I leave about an inch of water in the distiller when the timer turns it off. That water is nasty. Leaving water in the distiller makes it easier to clean and avoids the risk of boiling unwanted contaminates at higher temps into your clean water! Following this procedure, my water taste good every time and I do not use the charcoal filter.
The only long term concern I have is figuring a good way to prevent moisture from sitting in the condenser loop during storage periods. I worry about a bacteria forming there and that the water is not hot enough at that point to kill the bacteria??? So far, it has not been a problem.
I did not have a good experience with Mophorn (the seller), and I don't recommend them. However, the temp controlled distiller works very well and I am please with it" - AC
